Blechschrauben gehören zu den selbstschneidenden Schrauben, genauer zu den gewindefurchenden Schrauben. Sie verdrängen beim Selbstschneiden des Gewindes das Material im vorgebohrten Loch (Kernloch) und verfestigen es spanlos. Möchten Sie auf das Vorbohren verzichten, sind Bohrschrauben die geeignete Alternative. Bei sehr dünnen Materialien kann ggf. auf das Kernloch verzichtet werden. Dann sollte das Eindrehen allerdings langsam und gleichmäßig erfolgen, um ein sauberes Muttergewinde zu erhalten.
Blechschrauben werden zum Verbinden dünner Bleche, für Blechverkleidungen – etwa Profilbleche – sowie für Kunststoffplatten verwendet. Der Vorteil gegenüber Blindniete oder Schweiß- bzw. Klebetechniken: Die Verschraubung der Bauteile ist wieder lösbar. ETTINGER führt Blechschrauben in vielen unterschiedlichen Ausführungen nach DIN und ISO genormt.
Die richtigen Blechschrauben für Ihren Anwendungsfall
Unsere Blechschrauben sind mit verschiedenen Kopfformen und Antriebsarten erhältlich, mit Schraubengewinde mit Spitze (Form C) oder ohne (Form F). Dabei lassen sich im Hinblick auf die Anwendungsbereiche folgende Empfehlungen abgeben:
Blechschrauben mit Zylinderkopf nach DIN 7971 / ISO 1481 und Schlitz oder nach ISO 14585C mit Innensechsrund (Torx®, auch Innenvielzahn genannt): ideal für tiefgehende Kernlöcher
Blechschrauben mit Senkkopf bzw. Linsensenkkopf nach ISO 14586C und Torx® oder nach DIN 7982 / ISO 7050 sowie DIN 7983 / ISO 7051 und Kreuzschlitz: wenn eine plane Oberfläche gewünscht ist
Blechschrauben mit Linsenkopf nach DIN 7981 / ISO 7049 und Kreuzschlitz-Philips (Form H) oder Kreuzschlitz-Pozidriv (Form Z): optisch ansprechende Lösung für ebene Oberflächen
