Hinged standoffs are swiveling fastening parts for many applications in electronics – among others, they are used in transformer and device construction, in measurement technology or in switch cabinets. They are used to keep parts such as electronic circuit boards at a space and at the same time hinged. The small spacers can be used to keep several circuit boards or assemblies accessible one above the other without touching each other. This allows tests to be performed on worktops, printed circuit boards etc. at any oblique angle. Our hinged standoffs are made of hexagonal material for easy assembly. Hinged standoffs in various designs
The small swiveling mounting parts can be adjusted to any angle. A further advantage: Hinged standoffs are offered with different thread types such as internal/external thread, two internal threads or two external threads. They are made of brass or steel, depending on the use.
ETTINGER's product range includes a large range of standard designs for hinged standoffs, as well as an extensive division for special and drawing parts. Almost without exception, these are manufactured in our own production facility at Hofolding.
Of course, all our hinged standoffs comply with the RoHS directives with chrome-VI-free coating (exceptions according to customer requirements).
The following hinged standoffs can be ordered from ETTINGER ex stock:
- Hinged standoffs Type A with female/female thread made of steel or brass
- Hinged standoffs type B with male/female thread made of brass
- Hinged standoffs type C with male/male thread made of brass
The steel used is free-cutting steel 11SMnPb30+C (material no. 1.0718 / EN10277-3), the brass is CuZn39Pb3 (material no. 2.0401 / CW614N). The surface treatment is carried out according to DIN EN ISO 4042 (former DIN 267-9) – galvanized 5 µm (A2F) – nickel-plated 3 µm (E1E).
