Our quality management system is certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. Systematic incoming goods inspections, documented process controls, and the continuous development of our processes and employees ensure consistently high quality standards.

Throughout the entire supply chain, we continuously review our product portfolio to ensure compliance with applicable standards and statutory requirements of the European Union and Germany.

Sustainability in Practice

Environmentally Friendly Packaging Solutions

We rely on environmentally friendly packaging materials such as compostable air cushions, recyclable paper, and bio-based films. Using the KaroPack system, we process used cardboard boxes directly into sustainable cushioning and filling material for our shipments, reintegrating them efficiently into the shipping cycle.

In addition, we invest in modern waste separation systems to promote recycling and reduce plastic waste.

Renewable Energy Sources

At our new production facility in Sauerlach, we use the entire roof area for a photovoltaic system with a capacity of 95 kWp to generate sustainable electricity. Operations are powered entirely by renewable energy through the self-consumption of solar power combined with certified green electricity.

For heating, we rely on a heat pump and additionally utilise energy generated during the production process.

Energy Efficiency in Operations

By consistently modernising our lighting systems with energy-efficient technology, we sustainably reduce our electricity consumption.

In addition, we optimise machine operating times and use intelligent control systems to deploy energy in a targeted and resource-efficient manner.

E-Mobility

With the installation of electric charging stations on our premises, we actively promote the use of emission-free mobility solutions – for both employees and visitors.

Furthermore, we are increasingly transitioning our own vehicle fleet to electric vehicles and hybrid solutions. In this way, we not only reduce CO₂ emissions in our day-to-day operations but also set a visible example for future-oriented sustainable mobility.

The highest quality requirements combined with skilled employees make ETTINGER GmbH a reliable supplier of C parts.

All products are subject to strict incoming goods inspections in order to ensure consistently high standards in the quality of our products. This applies both to products manufactured in-house and to all bought-in parts.

To determine material compositions in the case of metals as well as in the case of plastics, substances, and plating thicknesses, we use a Fischerscope XDV-SDD X-ray fluorescence measuring system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 3497:2000 as part of our quality assurance practices. The measuring instrument is used to scan components in three axes as part of the incoming inspection process. As well as verifying adherence to environmental standards (e.g. RoHS) in respect of critical substances, the X-ray system enables us to check the layer thicknesses of metal parts with surface treatment with maximum precision.

To check dimensions within the scope of the general tolerances according to ISO 2768-1:1991-06 and to verify thread dimensions and thread tolerances according to DIN ISO 965-1 and DIN ISO 965-2:1999-11 (formerly DIN 13-13:1983-10), we use conventional test equipment, which undergoes regular inspections. Although it is intended that each mechanical fastener will meet all the requirements of the relevant product standard, this is not always possible, particularly in the case of large-scale production. For this reason, the DIN EN ISO 3269:2000 standard, for example, specifies guidelines for an accepted quality limit (AQL). Sampling plans for inspecting mechanical fasteners produced on a large scale, such as screws, nuts, washers, standoffs, and rivets, within the scope of our incoming goods inspection are based on this internationally recognized method.

At ETTINGER, we only work with partners who uphold the same core values as we do.

We also have an anonymous whistleblowing system which can be used to report breaches of our Code of Conduct. All legitimate concerns regarding compliance will be looked into immediately and sources may remain anonymous if they wish. This service is available to all ETTINGER employees as well as customers, suppliers, and other business partners.
