ETTINGER and TITAN – A Strong Connection
ETTINGER has acquired fastener specialist TITAN Befestigungstechnik-Großhandel GmbH, based in the German city of Bergisch Gladbach.
The decades-long partnership between the two companies culminated in ETTINGER acquiring shares in TITAN Befestigungstechnik-Großhandel GmbH at the end of 2021 / start of 2022. The Kurschildgen family, the former owners, engaged consultancy firm Sattler & Partner AG to handle its succession plan. In ETTINGER, the family were able to find a suitable successor that is well known in the industry.
Following ETTINGER’s acquisition of TITAN, both companies’ locations are being retained and are set to be developed further. “We anticipate positive synergy effects from which both companies will be able to benefit,” says Roland Ettinger, Managing Director of ETTINGER GmbH. Between them, the two companies have over 120 years of expertise.
